Purple Sun Resort is one of the few resorts near Avissawella, making it convenient and easy to explore the Avissawella area.
Visit the beautifully crafted stone structure of Berendi Kovil (Shrine) located at Thalduwa. King Rajasinghe built this for the Hinduism and had been under construction at the time of his death. He is said to have built several tunnels to penetrate into the enemy territories. The tunnel entrance behind the Seethawaka School is believed to be one of them.
